What the treatment is and how it's performed

What it is

What it is: 1 extension per natural lash (1:1 ratio).

Effect:

  • Natural look

  • Length and definition

  • Not very volume

  • Best for: Those who want subtle improvement

Individual or fanned synthetic lashes are attached to natural lashes for length, volume and fullness.

Procedure

New set:

  1. Consultation and style selection

  2. Cleansing of eyelashes and eye area

  3. Pads/tape under the eyes

  4. Application of extensions (1-4 hours depending on type)

  5. Drying and brushing

  6. After-instructions

During application:

  • Close your eyes

  • Relaxation

  • Many are falling asleep!

  • No pain (if done correctly)

Refill:

  1. Removal of outgrown/damaged extensions

  2. Purification

  3. Refill with new extensions (45-120 min)

  4. Brushing

Healing time

Day 0 (After application):

Natural lash cycle:

  • Eyelashes grow in cycles (6-8 weeks)
  • Eyelashes fall out naturally

Side effects

Common (if poorly applied/cared for):

  • Itch
  • Irritation
  • Natural lashes are damaged/broken
  • Infection (rare)

Aftercare

First 24-48 hours - CRITICAL:

  • DO NOT water on lashes
  • No steam, sauna, sweating
  • Not mascara
  • Do not touch
  • Don't lie on your stomach.

Daily maintenance:

  • Brush lashes every morning (sparingly brush)
  • Wash gently (oil-free products)
  • Don't rub your eyes.
  • Non-oil based products
  • Non-quilted pillows (will become flat)

Avoid:

  • Water-based/oil-based mascara (breaks down glue)
  • Eyelash curlers
  • Oil products around the eyes
  • A lot of touching

To maximize duration:

  • Brush daily
  • Clean gently
  • Sleep on your back/side
  • Arrive for refills on time

  • Fast (20-30%): Lashes grow quickly, need refills every 2 weeks
  • Average (50-60%): Refill every 2.5-3.5 weeks
  • Slow (10-20%): Can take up to 4 weeks

  • How to take care of them

Maintenance

Refill required:

  • Every 2-3 weeks: Optimal
  • Every 3-4 weeks: Acceptable

Removal:
